Day 2- Disney Land!!!

On day 2 we were up bright and early and were so excited to get to Disneyland. We stayed at a hotel across the street, so we just had to walk to the entrance which was so nice.
I may have shed a few tears when they opened the gates...it was so magical and fun! I know, I'm weird, but I loved it!!
The minute that we walked into the park, we ran into the beautiful Cinderella! I was NOT prepared. I had to scramble to get the camera out in time, and didn't get the autograph book or Camryn out of the stroller, but at least I got a picture of her with Colby. :)
Mom bought a Guide to Disneyland several weeks prior to the trip, so she figured out a plan for us, and we followed it to a T. 1st up- Peter Pan's Flight.

Surprisingly, this was one of the longer lines we had to stand in, but the kids were happy, so it wasn't bad at all. It was so fun that Cami got to ride on several of the rides with us. She LOVED them.
The kids were so excited when Mimsy, Pops, and Big finally got to Disneyland! (my parents flew in super early that morning and Doug picked them up at the airport)
After several super fun rides, it was time to go to Mickey's House to meet Mickey Mouse himself!
Next up- Go Go Gadget Coaster....Colby's 1st roller coaster :)
HE LOVED IT!
While Colby was riding the roller coaster (twice), Cami was meeting Goofy.
Then we went to Minnie's house!
Cami's face lit up when we walked out to see Minnie!
One of the rides Colby was most looking forward to was Autopia- he got to drive a car and he love, love, loved it! (I was driving Douglas in the car in front of Colby....let's just say he put my driving to shame)
Another favorite ride at Disneyland was Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. It was an interactive game where you actually tried to shoot at targets. SO FUN! Colby rode with Pops and they had a blast!
We finally convinced Colby to close his eyes for a few seconds.
Last, but not least, SPACE MOUNTAIN! We had pretty much decided that it would probably be too scary for Colby, but he insisted that he wanted to go. Of course he wanted to ride with Uncle Big, so Travis and I were a nervous wreck during the entire ride. I was feeling like the worst mom EVER until we got off the ride and he was giggling and asking to go again...SO....we did it again! :) We even convinced Pops to go with us the 2nd time around.
Our day at Disneyland was SO FUN and memorable to say the least. We were EXHAUSTED, but still managed to make it to the ESPN patio in downtown Disney for dinner and to watch the final game in the NBA finals. (and of course another trip to the Lego store to play)
