Supper Club Christmas Party

This year the Stahls graciously hosted our annual Supper Club Christmas party at Wildflower Country Club. The room was all set up for us with personalized menus, incredible appetizers and an open bar with a great bartender. We had so much fun catching up, chatting, eating, drinking, and of course opening gifts. I just love these people!!!
sorry Patrick...I couldn't resist!!
Lee's white elephant gift included a HUGE tarantula that Travis felt the need to carry around on his shoulder....gross!
We have made so many fun memories with these friends. This was our 5th Christmas party together. Can't wait to make more memories with them in 2013!

Christmas with the Streaters!

Since Doug and Elyse were in town on Friday, we celebrated Christmas with them a little early. We didn't mind at all. We were just thankful that we got to hang out with them while they were here. Colby had a BLAST opening all of his gifts (and everyone else's gifts), singing happy birthday to baby Jesus, riding his new tricycle and playing his new Candyland game with Mimsy.
Jake and the Neverland Pirate ship!!!
 Ahoy!
Look what Santa dropped off at Mimsy's house!!!
Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

Trendy Tots and More

I really wish I was as talented as some of my friends are. :) Lisa Lindemann was my brother's age in high school. She has a shop on Etsy where she sells custom monogrammed kids clothing. She sent us precious outfits when Camryn was born, we got Thanksgiving outfits from her in November, and this week in the mail we received the sweetest package from her....Christmas outfits!!! I LOVE this sweet onesie for Camryn and the adorable truck shirt for Colby. They are just perfect. We got them just in time for Christmas at my parents house, so of course I had to get a few pictures before we left our house of these two cuties in their "Trendy tots and more" outfits. THANK YOU Lisa!!! (the tutu was a gift from Hope and Holly right after they found out I was having a girl a year ago!!!)

Colby's Christmas Program

On Friday I was lucky enough that my principal let me duck out of school for an hour on one of the craziest school days of the year to go watch Colby's precious Christmas program. He was hilarious, dramatic, loud and joyful up on stage. :) He and his friends did a great job and I'm so thankful I got to be there.
My Auntie Lisa, mom, dad, brother, Elyse, Travis and Camryn were all there to cheer him on too, and he had the biggest smile when he saw everyone.

Life Lately...

has been GREAT! Travis has had much more free time to help out, pick up kids, drop off kids, run errands, go to the grocery store, clean up around the house, bathe kids, feed kids, tuck kids in, cook dinner, and the list goes on and on. He has been finishing up computer work for the past 4 weeks between flying around the USA interviewing for an ortho residency position. So when he's NOT away interviewing, he's pretty much working from home.
Of course we are hoping and praying that he will be accepted in Temple, but we are also well aware that God may have other plans for us, so we are keeping an open mind and we know that whatever happens will be super exciting for our family!!!! Interviews continue for the next 5 weeks or so, and then the match process begins and we will find out where we will be spending the next FIVE years on March 14th!! YAY!
Colby has been struggling a little with his behavior lately at school. I think he's just a rambunctious little boy who LOVES school and just has WAY too much energy and WAY too much fun. :) We're working on rewarding his good days. This week, after a good day at school, daddy decided to let Colby shoot his first BB gun! (It was Trav's gun when he was younger) Colby was SO excited. Of course by the time we got home that evening it was already dark, but he got to fire off a few shots and there will be more gun shooting to come in the future.
 daddy's little froggy
loving mum mums!!

The first cold front that came through meant a fire in our fireplace and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows!!
Testing out baby Jaleigh's nursery rug....definitely passed the test. Camryn just wanted to lay on it all night!
ADORABLE Giggle Moon outfit from Hope from her precious boutique store, Whimsy
 LOVES bathtime!!!!!
and LOVES the Christmas tree!!! She always rolls straight to it.
