Day 3- California Adventure Park

The next day was another day FULL of fun! We got to California Adventure Park (right next door to Disneyland) around 7:30, and were surprised to find out that they were actually opening the gates early that day! While Travis and Doug stood in line to get Radiator Springs Racers fast-passes (this is a BIG deal!), we got an early start on some of the rides.
We were at the park the day before the Lone Ranger's big movie premier, so there were lots of signs and props. Colby couldn't figure out why this train was just sitting there, but he thought it was cool anyway.
We were pleasantly surprised that there was NO line for Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!
As soon as we got off the ride, we were greeted by Sulley himself! He even initiated Colby into his fraternity. :)
Next up was Bug's Land- we rode Flik's flyers
Once the guys got our fast-passes for cars ride, we headed to Breakfast with Mickey and Friends....but not without a stop to meet Chip and Dale :)
Breakfast was SOOOO fun! The first thing we got to do was meet Mickey, and then while we enjoyed a yummy buffet breakfast, other characters came to our table to play.
Mickey waffles!
They also called the kids up for dance parties and games.
Daisy was my favorite....how cute is she?!??
After breakfast, it was back to California Adventure Park.
We had no idea how big of a deal this ride was, but they ran out of fast passes within the first 30 minutes of the park being open, and the line without a fast pass was over an hour long. YIKES! Luckily, we did have fast passes and it was so worth it!
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Back to Bug's Land
On our way to Paradise Pier, we ran into a Phineas and Ferb dance party!
There were a few rides that Colby wasn't tall enough for, but the big kids didn't pass up. :)
On of the most anticipated things at this park was the Disney Jr. LIVE show. It was fun!
In the afternoon, we found a winery and a great spot to sit and watch the parade. This is a must-see! It was so fun!!
Last, but not least, we rode Toy Story Midway Mania! It was another interactive ride where you wore 3D glasses and played several carnival games to get points. Definitely worth the 45 minute wait. It was awesome.
